This is the first year of the canadian built daytonas produced after the closure of the south bend facility in december 1963. 1964 moved production to studebaker's canadian plant in hamilton, ontario, which was overseen by gordon grundy, the president of studebaker of canada. Powered by a 259 cid studebaker v8, this car rocks down the road! It lives up to it's sportiness like no other. The car has original panels and the owner believes it might be numbers matching too. The odometer shows 56,759 and there is no way to prove this is accurate, but from looking at it i wouldn't be surprised if it is. Power is sent to the wheels via a 3 speed automatic and it shifts really nicely. This, along with the vinyl interior help make it even more of a pleasure to drive.
