Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a bad to the bone 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. Often called the "Terminator" these 2003-2004 Cobra's were like a modern day Boss 429. The cars were rated by Ford at 390 Horsepower, but it has become known that this was a sever under rating from the factory. Most cars put out well into the 400s for horsepower. In addition to being very powerful from the factory, they are very tunable machines, easy capable of additional horsepower with the right modifications. The beating heart of these machines is a 4.6 Liter DOHC V8 with a factory Eaton roots style supercharger. This particular Terminator has had some tasteful modifications to get the most out of this amazing drive train. The supercharger has received a Stage 8 port from Stiegemeier as well as a 2.4 upper pulley. In addition a JTL cold air intake assists get the air flowing in much more efficiently than stock. On the exhaust side it have a VRS off-road X pipe and Magnaflow catback system. Other mods include a JMS fuel booster, drilled and slotted brake rotors, and an SCT tuner. The result is a street friendly horsepower monster which will surprise any stock Cobra on the road. The pod holds oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp. It also houses single dash pod with volts gauge. Intake resonator delete. The valve covers have been powder coated yellow to match the rest of the car. The front facia is a cervini cobra r urethane facia with cvs stainless supports. Factory subframe connectors. Steeda upper front shock / tower braces. Maximum motorsport 4 way camper plates set up for street use. Steeda bump steer kit. Maximum performance rear panhard bar, lower rear suspension bars and grease fittings. Kenny brown welded and relieved jacking rails. 600 front springs, 450 rear progressive springs. This car has not been lowered. It has a larger mass air flow sensor, polished and a cold air intake without the aluminum elbow.

These are very serious machines capable of 12 second 1/4 mile times right from the factory. This one has only 17,987 miles and is truly drop dead gorgeous in white with a black power soft top and a two-toned gray interior with suede and leather seating surfaces. Power comes from a supercharged 32 valve v8 that has been grossly underrated at 390 horsepower. These engines were hand built and power varied quite a bit from enge to engine. Most of them produced more than 400 horsepower and some in the 450 horsepower range. Most the of cobras from this era have been modified and driven hard. This is example has very low mileage and is only modified by a magna flow stainless steel exhaust system. This makes a great sound and frees up some ponies by using a more free flowing set of mufflers. This cobra also came stock with brembo brakes and bilstein shock absorbers. Standard equipment included the usual options like abs, traction control, power seats and a mach stereo system. The exterior only has a few cobra giveaways; 1st there are the 17-inch aluminum wheels, brake scoops incorporated into the front bumper, a lip style rear spoiler, some cobra badges and a unique hood to vent some of the hot air coming from the blower.
