It went through a rough patch that most enthusiasts do not like to mention but in 1979 that would all change. The mustang would release the first rendition of its "fox body" mustang. These early runs were off the fox platform which was initially developed for the fairmont, a much bigger car. It was not until 83 did ford finally listened to the people and a convertible model was offered. This particular gt convertible is in good shape and only has 69824. The original black paint is in good condition and shows very nicely. The white top goes up and down with no signs of wear it fits the car nicely. The white leather interior is original t o this mustang, with only appreciable wear on the driverã¢?? Under the hood that classic 5. 0 engine sounds as good as the day it left detroit. The classic aod automatic transmission easily handles the 300 ftlb of torque without a hitch. The original pony wheels are in excellent condition and give the car a true sleeper look. With a clean auto check history available upon request and the values on these steadily climbing i can't see this one hanging around long.
