The car underwent a complete restoration over 12 years ago and is it is still in excellent condition. It is believed to be still original sheet metal on the car. The floor pans and the trunk are also original and solid. Back in the day the dodge boys were famous for putting big engines in little cars. The 1969 dart is no exception. Originally designed as an economy car without many thrills these small light weight cars became rockets when the boys installed v8 horsepower under the hood. Powering this dart is a 360 magnum crate engine with msd ignition, headers, aluminum intake manifold and a serpentine belt system. The engine has just over 9,000 miles and truly sounds amazing! Backing up the power plant is a built 727 torque-flight automatic transmission with a shift kit and a mild stall. Within the last year the column shifter was replace with a b&m floor shifter. Putting the power to the rear wheels is an 8 3/4 rear end with 3. 91 gears. This is the perfect cruiser with all the right equipment! This dart is painted in bright red with white stripes and decals.
