The muscular good looks of this car go more than just skin deep. The paint color is ford f1 paint. Under the hood of this buick is the heartbeat of a chevy beast. A 489 cubic inch big block engine built by knieriem racing engines of louisville kentucky resides in the engine compartment. The engine is fresh and ready for the track or street. Yes, its street legal! The engine has been filled with all the good stuff including speed pro forged pistons, a forged stroker crank and h-bean rods with arp rod bolts. Insuring that plenty of air and fuel gets in is a set of brodix cylinder heads that have been port matched to an edelbrock super victor intake. A top the intake is a gary william prepared holley dominator carburetor flowing 1300 cfm. Hooker super competition hookers take care of the spent fumes. An art carr turbo 400 transmission with a 5000 stall converter get the power from the engine to the built ford 9 inch sporting 4. 30 gears with 31 spline moser axles. The suspension has been set up specifically for the track using hotchkis tubular control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends and drag link.
