The ford fox platform was used by ford motor company in north america from 1978 to 1993; a substantial redesign of the ford mustang in 1994 extended its life another eleven years. With the exception of the panther platform, the fox platform is the longest-produced vehicle architecture by ford motor company. Originally oxford white, this fox body has been repainted in factory metallic silver. To set off the exterior look of the mustang, a set chrome pony wheels have been added. These wheels look awesome on the mustang and give this mustang a just came from the factory look. S so awesome has been made even more awesome! Engine displacement has been increased to 347 cubic inches making this 302 based engine a real screamer! This healthy 347 has forged pistons, 30 lb fuel injectors, aluminum trick flow heads, trick flow intake, a 75 mm mass air meter and throttle body. For street and strip fun, a professionally built c4 automatic 3 speed transmission with a reverse manual valve body has been mated to the 347 engine. The manual valve body allows the driver to shift when he/she wants to, but gives the consistency needed when at the track. The 347 engine and c4 transmission have a little over 500 miles on them. The 8. 8 rear has an aftermarket posi unit and is filled with 4. 10 gears from ford racing. In other words, ã¢?? The seats show very little wear, and the carpet is fresh. Two aftermarket gauges have been added to keep track of the water temp and oil pressure; this retains the interiorã¢?? S clean factory look. A shift light has been added, so the driver can consistently shift at the same rpm each time when at the track.
